Can Vatech Support help me with my IT related issues?

Vatech is not able to assist with IT related issues due to liability and certain rules outlined by HHS in HIPAA Guidelines pertaining to the data. A certified IT person is required to support all your IT needs for all your PC's - including the Capture PC.

These topics might be but not limited to:

  • On-Demand Software installation including Vatech Software on workstations.
  • Firewall - rules, enabling/disabling other than for testing.
  • AntiVirus - rules & exclusions, installation & uninstallation, recommendations.
  • UAC - Profile issues, UAC control, various topics related thereof including breakfix caused by such.
  • OS releated tasks not directly associated by a Vatech product installation (Such as required patches) - all other OS releated issues should be handled by Certified IT in conjustion with Microsoft Guide.
  • 3rd party intallation & configurations including SDK and Twain.
  • Backups - Handling of backups or restoring from backups, creation or recommendations on what to use for backups.
  • Data Migrations & conversions.
